To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is written in support of Ms Ms SSS, one of my students at the Technological University of COEP. I have come across Ms SSS in and out of the classroom in my capacity as an Associate Professor in the Department of Metallurgy and Material Science.
I taught Ms SSS two fundamental subjects of metallurgy, the first subject being “Introduction to Ceramics Engineering,” and the second subject, “Metallurgical Thermodynamics and Kinetics.” Also during her third year, I helped her as her guide in the Mini-Project entitled “Disposal of Coal Fly Ash and Extraction of Silica from Coal Fly Ash”.
I particularly focused on problem-solving skills and how the individual dealt with challenges of the working environment of which I was particularly impressed by Ms SSS’s performance. While working on her project, she proved proactive by coming up with a number of measures to take whenever there was an issue with the equipment. During my course, when our inert gas furnace tripped off, she was very active in organizing with the maintenance people and even overworked herself to ensure the heat treatment was done as planned for in the standard working hours. Proactivity, as well as a commitment to reporting progress more frequently, indicated her good project management qualities.
Other research works that are new and unique include Ms SSS’s research work on the disposal and extraction of silica from coal fly ash. Her team has done it to work out how to extract sol-gel of sodium silicate from the coal fly ash for nano silica synthesis and has prove technical knowledge and experimental skills.
Apart from her academic achievements, Ms SSS has demonstrated herself as a good leader, duly elected as a Class Representative for 2008–2009 and 2009–2010. She was responsible for managing schedules, handling complaints, and keeping a good relationship between faculty and students. Another reference is her work experience as Event Head at Mindspark’23, in which she managed the Metallurgy department “On the Etch” segment.
I am sure that Ms SSS will succeed in her future work as today, she is a technical professional, a logical thinker, and a leader. I recommend her without any qualification for post graduate study or for careers in metallurgical engineering.
Sincerely,
